Project Rachel is a post abortion healing and reconciling ministry of the Catholic Church.  As part of a national effort sponsored by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), Project Rachel seeks to bring hope, healing, and reconciliation to post abortive parents, friends and families. In the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, this ministry offers:

• A confidential referral line for you to talk with a trained staff person about your experience.
• Referral to spiritual guidance from a priest, (or spiritual director) sensitive to each person’s particular needs, who can prepare you to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. If desired, you can be put in touch with a priest or spiritual director outside of your community.
• Referral to counseling with licensed mental health professionals to help you sort through unresolved feelings and conflicts. 

Thus says the LORD:
In Ramah is heard the sound of moaning, of bitter weeping!

Rachel mourns her children, she refuses to be consoled because her children are no more.

Thus says the LORD:

Cease your cries of mourning.

Wipe the tears from your eyes. The sorrow you have shown shall have its reward...there is hope for your future.  Jeremiah 31:15-17
