My name is Fr. Michael Niemczak and I am the Director of Vocations for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe.
I'm glad you are here exploring this page because it shows you have the courage to ask the great question, "To what is God calling me in this life?". The answer to that question is the same as the answer to the question, "What will make me happiest in this life?".
Discerning the will of God is the process of discovering what your deepest desire is. The great secret is that God desires our happiness even more than we do, and – here’s the kicker – since He created us, He knows exactly what will make us happiest in this life and lead to endless happiness in the next.
That is our goal for every person who approaches us in the Vocations Office - to help you discover the path God calls you to follow that will lead to that joy only found in becoming the saint God invites you to be. Our job is not to make priests; our job is to help God raise up saints.
